For a nonresident Wyoming LLC with an EIN, BusinessRocket's Essentials package costs $252 less than our Non-US Founder Package in year one, and both charge $99 a year for the registered agent after that. The difference is mostly in how the bank account step is handled. Here's the full comparison. We sell a competing package, so read it knowing that.

The case for BusinessRocket

  1. Price. Essentials is $147 (list $195) plus the state fee, with the EIN included.
  2. Same agent renewal. A free first year, then $99 a year, matching ours.
  3. Extras. Internal company documents, rush processing, and a free domain.
  4. Bank Concierge that names Lili and Relay, without guaranteeing approval.
  5. Annual report filing in the Supreme package ($254), continuing at $99 a year.
  6. A stated EIN timeline of 3 to 6 weeks for non-US residents.

How the offers differ

  1. Price. BusinessRocket is lower up front by $252 in Wyoming. After year one, the agent costs the same.
  2. Bank application. Our process prepares the full application for our partners from your order, attaches the filed Articles, and holds it until you approve. It's ready when your SS-4 is signed, so the IRS timeline doesn't hold it up. Approval is our partners' decision.
  3. Annual reports. BusinessRocket's Supreme package includes them. We don't offer annual report filing.
  4. EIN process. No SSN? We use the IRS's route for that, completing Form SS-4 for you; after your e-signature, it's faxed in.

Choose BusinessRocket if

  • The lowest first-year cost is your priority.
  • You'd like annual report filing included through Supreme.
  • You want extras like a free domain and rush processing.

Wyoming rules that apply to your LLC

  • Articles of Organization: $100 filing fee.
  • Registered agent: required continuously, at a Wyoming street address.
  • Annual report and license tax: first day of the anniversary month; $60 minimum; can be filed up to 120 days early.
  • If it's missed: 60 days past the due date, administrative dissolution becomes possible. Reinstatement is available for two years.
  • No residency requirement for members or organizers.

What our package leaves to you

Wyoming's yearly report and license tax, and your federal tax filings. Foreign-owned single-member LLCs frequently need Form 5472 and a pro forma 1120; preparing them is outside our package.

FAQ

What are BusinessRocket's non-US packages?

Starter at $49 (no EIN or company agreements), Essentials at $147 (list $195), and Supreme at $254 (list $349). Each adds the state fee.

How much more is your package for Wyoming?

$252 more in year one. BusinessRocket Essentials plus Wyoming's fee is $247; our package plus the same fee is $499.

What does the extra cost cover?

Mainly the bank account step. We fill in the application for our partners ourselves, attach your filed Articles, and have it ready as soon as you sign your SS-4. You approve it before it's sent, and our partners decide.

What's BusinessRocket's EIN timeline for nonresidents?

BusinessRocket states 3 to 6 weeks. For our faxed SS-4 filings, the IRS generally takes two to eight weeks.

Does either include Form 5472 filing?

No. BusinessRocket offers a one-on-one Tax Concierge session, and we don't prepare tax forms. You'll need a tax professional for Form 5472.
